The General Directorate of Youth of the Autonomous Community, in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, launched the program 'Said and Done' a few weeks ago.
Through this program, young Lumbrerenses and other municipalities of the Region of Murcia could decide the activities they wanted to carry out in the coming months in their municipalities.
The winning activity, selected by the majority of Lumbrerenses, has been 'paintball'.
The day took place yesterday afternoon, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the participation of nearly a hundred young people from 14 to 36 years old.
The participation process was carried out through the page https://www.dichoyhechojoven.es/ where the young people inserted their personal data and selected the two activities they preferred to do in their municipality.
The Councilor for Youth, Andrés López, stressed that "it is a good initiative to reach young people more effectively the various programs and activities, while encouraging their active participation."
