The municipal pools of Puerto Lumbreras summer will open their doors on June 15 until September.
The opening hours of these facilities will be from 12.00 to 20.00 hours every day of the week.
The municipal workers have begun the tasks of adapting the facilities with tasks of disinfection, cleaning, masonry, electricity and gardening.
The acting mayor, M ª Angeles Túnez, accompanied by the councilor of Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, supervised the performances and stressed that "with the arrival of summer, we started the new season of the pools so that Lumbrerenses can have another leisure alternative during the summer period ".
The Polideportivo Municipal has three swimming pools, one for the little ones with water games, another pool that includes 3 slides and a third larger pool for adults.
"Last year, the number of users increased in all the services offered by this City Council, both in the swimming courses and in the free access to the swimming pools or participation in the numerous activities organized throughout the summer months, We hope that this trend will continue, "said Tunisia.
