The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras hosted the final phase of the children's category of the regional football teams.
Specifically, in the afternoon of yesterday, more than fifty players gathered at the football field in the town of Lumbrerense.
One more season, when the different base competitions have almost come to an end, prepare the regional teams formed from the areas of Murcia center, Guadalentín, Cartagena, Mar Menor and Northwest.
Several trainings have already been held to choose the players that will be part of the different selections and now it is the turn of the celebration of the final phases.
The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, thanked the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia for choosing Puerto Lumbreras to host this event.
Similarly, Burrueco remarked the work done by the Lumbreras Sports Club and conveyed his congratulations to the summoned Lumbrerense, Sergio Pérez.
In total, more than four hundred players distributed in the categories pre-benjamin, benjamin, alevín, infant, cadet and juvenile, will serve to make the territorial selections of the next season.
After the celebration of the final phase in children's category in Puerto Lumbreras, today comes the turn of the fry in Los Alcázares.
On the 18th the last call will be held in the pre-benjamin and benjamin categories, which will be played in Pinatar Arena.
