The patio of the Cultural Center of Puerto Lumbreras has hosted this weekend a new staging of the Dance Festival of the Dance Academy of Mª Teresa Lazareno.
110 students between 3 and 16 years were the protagonists on Friday night.
The show featured two parts, a flamenco and a classical one.
The classical part was inspired by the famous musical of the Lion King.
The set and the dancers managed to enter the spectators in an African jungle with their original animals.
A show full of family values, which showed the link of each of the characters with their roots.
In total, the show featured 19 choreographies, prepared over several months, in which students showed the public their best steps and technical advances achieved over the last year.
It should be noted that this activity is part of the summer program 'Cultural Nogalte 2019' launched by the Department of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with associations and groups of the municipality.
