The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras will hold on July 7 the Institutional Act on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the independence of Puerto Lumbreras, in an act in which distinctions and recognitions are awarded to individuals and institutions that have stood out in the last year in the municipality, by joint motion of the municipal groups of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
The Juan Antonio López Alcaraz School of Early Childhood and Primary Education has celebrated its 40th anniversary during this year, becoming one of the most prestigious institutions in Puerto Lumbreras.
That is why in the act of July 7, which will start at 21:30 in the Patio of the Cultural Center, this center will receive the Silver Medal of the City.
This school has passed thousands of Lumbrerenses who have received their first knowledge, have learned their first letters, have written their first scribbles and have laid the foundations of culture and knowledge, the basis of not only personal development of each one in itself , but of a municipality with a future.
Currently studying at the Juan Antonio López Alcaraz 645 students and more than 30 teachers of Early Childhood Education and Primary work daily.
It is for his work, for doing it day by day over these 40 years, for which he is awarded the "Silver Medal" of the city of Puerto Lumbreras.
