Four of the seven women who carried out the practical part of the course "Cleaning of surfaces and furniture in buildings and premises" have found employment after completing their training.
It is a course taught by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service, aimed at unemployed people, whose objective was to perform the tasks of cleaning and maintenance of surfaces and furniture in buildings and premises by selecting the techniques , tools, products and machines to ensure sanitation, conservation and maintenance, where appropriate, under the supervision of the competent professional, complying with the applicable regulations on safety and health.
The course began in early April at the Entrepreneurs Center, with a total of 150 hours, ending in mid-May.
It was initiated by 13 people, all of them women, of whom they finished the theory 12. In June they carried out the practices in cleaning companies in the zone 7 women (the rest being renounced for various reasons or being exempt), being hired by these same companies 4 they, assuming more than 50% of recruitment of the students who have successfully completed the internships.
It is expected that more hirings will take place over the weeks.
