The Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment has published an Order that aims to establish the regulatory bases that will govern the call for the granting of aid, whose purpose is to encourage and promote the performance of actions in SMEs and large companies in the sector industrial.
Actions that reduce carbon dioxide emissions and final energy consumption, by improving energy efficiency, thereby contributing to achieving the objectives of reducing final energy consumption set by European regulations on the subject, and in accordance to the norms that govern the Operational Program FEDER Plurirregional of Spain 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting applications will begin on the day indicated in the corresponding call when it is published shortly.
The companies that have the consideration of SMEs, or Large Companies in the industrial sector, and energy services companies will be targeted, understanding as such the broadest possible definition of organizations that provide this type of services.
To qualify for the Program, the actions will have to be carried out in the Region of Murcia and will have to achieve a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and final energy consumption, by improving energy efficiency with respect to their starting situation , and comply with the conditions established by the bases, justifying energy savings and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Energy saving and efficiency actions must also be included in the improvement of technology in industrial equipment and processes, or in the implementation of energy management systems.
