The Puerto Lumbreras Library Network starts up the 'Bibliopiscina' service during the summer season.
An activity that consists of bringing a selection of books to the Municipal Pools with the aim of encouraging its users to read.
"These facilities have a large influx of public during the months of July and August by people of different groups and ages," says the Councilor for Culture;
Juan Rubén Burrueco, which is why "we want to encourage reading in the outdoor pools, in addition to publicizing the Library and its services."
The books can be withdrawn from Monday to Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00 hours in the complex of the Municipal Swimming Pools, prior delivery of the library membership card.
The duration of the loan may be for the stay of that day of swimming pool, or to return within a maximum period of 15 days, being necessary to return it at the same collection point.
The mayor of Culture has stressed that it is a service that complements the one already offered from the Municipal Pools, "and that seeks to promote reading as an alternative for leisure and free time, while users can enjoy the bath, and all within the same facility. "
