The photographic exhibition "the collector of memories" by Juan Jesús García Ortega will be for the enjoyment of locals and visitors until next September 30 in the exhibition hall of the House of the Elves (Calle Francisco Tirado, 6).
Access is free and the schedule for visiting the exhibition is Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In this exhibition, the author tries to capture a collection of his best memories "walking down the street capturing time and making everything that catches my attention eternal".
Here is a collection of his best memories.
And it is that according to García Ortega, "the street is a scene full of life where unknown actors provide unique, natural and spontaneous scenes."
Juan Jesús Ortega studied at the School of Photography and Cinema Filmosophy of Granada, and has held exhibitions in venues, theaters and photography schools in different parts of Almeria and Granada.
"Curiosity called me to buy my first camera, completely ignoring the world of photography. I learned all the possibilities that the camera offered me when it came to photographing, since this world is not just something more visual, but behind each image there is a story, feelings and emotions that the photographer brings in each capture. And this is what I try to reflect in my photographs, to transfer to my vision what the heart puts, "says Juan Jesus.
