In the next Patron Saint Festivities of Puerto Lumbreras, and in collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross, a "violet dot" will be available at the fairgrounds at night;
a space for prevention, awareness, security and accompaniment of possible victims of sexist or sexual violence.
With this, it is tried to favor the relations other people's to any type of violence.
"The parties are for everyone's enjoyment, but always with respect," says the mayor of the town, María Ángeles Tunisia.
Puerto Lumbreras will also have these parties, which will take place from October 2 to 7, with a breastfeeding room on Calle del Caño.
"A room will be available for nursing mothers so that they can breastfeed their babies, as well as other types of food or change diapers with total comfort and greater privacy in the fairground at night," according to Tunisia.
The space will be equipped with armchairs, changing tables, tables, chairs, microwaves and hygienic material such as wipes.
The cleaning staff will come regularly to keep the room in perfect condition.
