As is tradition, Local Police agents have gathered today to commemorate the day of their employers, the Guardian Angels.
At 12.00 a mass was celebrated in the Church Our Lady of the Rosary in tribute to San Miguel, San Rafael and San Gabriel.
Then, an acknowledgment was made in the House of the Goblins to three agents who are retiring, and a diploma delivery for their brilliant work and service for 25 years in the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras.
The agents are Francisco Montoya Romera, José Giménez Navarro and Ramón García Molina.
The mayor has accompanied the agents on this day, which according to Tunisia "has once again revealed the important work carried out by the Local Police Corps and its great commitment to make Puerto Lumbreras a safe place."
The event was also attended by members of the Government team, Civil Guard, queen of the parties and numerous residents of the town.
Finally, Tunisia reiterated its intention to "continue working so that the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras have more and better means in order to increase citizen security."
