Puerto Lumbreras has hosted the most fun and colorful event of its 2019 Fiesta Festivities program with the celebration of its traditional Carrozas Parade.
One of the most anticipated appointments by the lumbrerenses that this year had the participation of fourteen groups.
In this new edition, "Los Chichilones en Venecia" won the first prize with 2,200 euros plus trophy.
The second prize of 1,500 euros and a trophy went to "Valhalla", and the third prize of 900 euros and a trophy to "I'm going to make a picture. The rest of the prizes endowed with 150 euros and a trophy went to" Harry Potter ", an organized carriage ; "Mary Poppins", original carriage, "Legoland" traditional carriage, "The Autumn" most current themed carriage.
Before starting the parade, the participating carriages remained exposed on the esplanade of the local Sports Center from 12 noon to 4 pm.
The parade began at 4.30 pm with departure in Plaza de la Constitución on a route that traveled in the direction of El Cruce, passing through the Rambla de Nogalte to Bar Lirón, and returning by Rambla de Nogalte to Calle Mayor to end in avenue Pedro García Rubio.
