The Department of Commerce will carry out a campaign to sell flowers in the area outside the cemetery for the days 30, October 31 and November 1
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is carrying out improvement and conditioning work in the San Damián municipal cemetery on the occasion of the arrival of the All Saints holiday.
The City Council has prepared a special device for the adaptation of this space that will be visited by numerous residents of the town in the coming days.
During the previous weeks, gardening, cleaning, painting and lighting are intensified.
In addition, a thousand parking spaces will be available within the cemetery grounds.
On the other hand, to facilitate the flow of traffic, the Consistory will have a special bus service on November 1 to facilitate the movement of citizens to the cemetery and favor public transport, with stops located on Avenida de Almería, Murciana Avenue, Limoneros street, the Hermitage and the Station.
In the same way, security will be reinforced with the presence of a greater number of Local Police agents to control the parking and regulate traffic at the entrances and exit of the cemetery.
It will also intensify the cleaning and garbage collection service to keep the facilities in good condition during these days, as in the rest of the year.
It should be noted that a Mass is scheduled to be held at the Cemetery on November 1 at 5:00 p.m.
The councilor delegated in the powers of the cemetery, Francisco Gázquez, stressed that "this device is put in place to provide adequate service to citizens on a day when the influx of visitors increases considerably, being much higher than the registered any another day of the year. "
Sale of flowers
The Department of Commerce will carry out, once again, the campaign for the sale of flowers in the outer area of ​​the cemetery for October 30 and 31 from 09.00 to 18.00 and November 1 from 09.00 to 14.00 hours.
The businesses participating in this initiative are Sosa Floristas and Floristería Guirrete.
