The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is undertaking the works of tower 3, corresponding to the restoration project and restoration of the Nogalte Castle, phase II.
Works that have funds from the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, a budget close to 30,000 euros, and an execution period of approximately two months, and that the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras has visited for her supervision;

Specifically, it is the reconstruction of the upper part of the tower 3 of this medieval fortification, through the execution of the walls of tapial using mortar of lime and mampuesto.
On the other hand, for the formation of the ground level of the tower 3 a 15 cm thick floor will be made, whose surface finish will be similar to the finish presented by the adarves and the rest of the towers, to homogenize the final image of the castle.
These are works of a protective and preventive nature, with the basic objective of being an intervention to preserve and value what exists, and following the constructive and material criteria of the period of origin, obtaining an aesthetic image in accordance with them, as well as with the previous performances in the Nogalte Castle.
