The PSOE of Puerto Lumbreras presents a motion for the next where it raises the need to provide the municipality with leisure places for this purpose.
From the Socialist Party of Puerto Lumbreras consider the creation of these leisure areas a necessity, especially if we take into account that in the majority of nearby municipalities the use of public barbecues in parks or rural areas is booming and are welcomed by its inhabitants with great acceptance, we believe that providing Puerto Lumbreras with these properly equipped spaces can have an impact on the benefit of families, youth and children.
At the same time it can be a meeting place and nearby weekend activity, accessible and very economical.
At the moment our municipality does not have any barbecue area near the town center, having proof that citizens demand it.
We consider from our Socialist Municipal Group that those located near the tourist office, the old Peñas Blancas soccer field and our districts could be ideal places for this purpose.
Specifically, the tourist office area has numerous trees that provide shade and make this space a pleasant place throughout the year.
It also has excellent access for both our citizens and visitors.
The Socialist Party has a masonry budget and the purchase of wooden tables and benches that we can put at your disposal, being a cost to the affordable municipal budget.
For all this, the Socialist Party will take a motion to the plenary with the following agreements.
That the procedures and obtaining the necessary permits for the construction of terraced barbecues, as well as for the purchase of tables with wooden benches to be placed in the area of ​​the tourist office as the first action are carried out.
That the commitment to introduce this expense in the next municipal budgets be acquired.
That the commitment to carry out the actions before the summer of 2020 be acquired.
That the calendar and schedule for the use of barbecues be established precisely in the summer months.
