The municipal group of the Popular Party in the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will fully take a motion for the council to propose the study by Social Services and the Department of Municipal Intervention, in the tax ordinances of all possible measures that are aimed at subsidizing to large families in taxes and fees, in order to improve their quality of life and encourage families to have more children.
In addition, it will request to urge the governments of Spain and the Region of Murcia to increase and encourage aid to large families.
Our generational pyramid is a mushroom, there are many older people above and less and less young people below, children and adolescents are now the contributors of the future, upon which the maintenance of pensions and the tax structure of the country will depend .
"But in addition to reviewing what represent large families within society, we must not stop focusing on the various family realities with a special situation of particular vulnerability because of the cost it represents for them," said the councilor of the group popular municipal;
Toņi Navarro.
From the Popular Party we are committed to the family and in the case of large families, multiple measures have been implemented at the local, regional and national levels from different administrations, such as a 45% bonus on the contribution when hiring a support person in the home, discounts in RENFE, preference in scholarships and admission processes, exemption of fees in public prices in the field of education.
Since 2014, after the tax reform, within the Support Plan for Spanish families, the family minimums exempt from taxation were increased, a deduction of 1200 euros was created and bonuses were applied at the IBI in various municipalities.
"We believe that it is time to implement several measures aimed at making life easier for large families, creating among others, a special bonus for those families," says Toņi Navarro.
