The Eco-Green project;
"Eco-management of green spaces and rural areas for agricultural and tourist use" is part of the Emploa Verde 2018 program, and consists of launching actions aimed at promoting the creation and improvement of employment in economic activities related to the environment, promoting employment "green".
This is a project funded at 80% through a grant awarded by the Biodiversity Foundation, under the Ministry for Ecological Transition, through contributions from the European Social Fund and co-financed at 20% by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras in collaboration with the City Council from Huércal-Overa.
Through these projects, and taking advantage of the real growth opportunities offered by activities related to the environment and biodiversity, it seeks to boost the sustainability of economic activities in all sectors, promoting a circular economy, the integration of biodiversity into management business, the transition to a low carbon economy and a more efficient use of natural resources.
