The municipal group of the Popular Party in the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will fully take a motion to request the Segura Hydrographic Confederation to carry out the necessary steps leading to the evaluation and analysis of the state of the wall in the urban area and other prevention infrastructures before possible floods in the Rambla de Nogalte to avoid future damages.
In addition, it will request the execution of as many actions or works as are necessary for it.
The Segura Hydrographic Confederation will also be requested to prepare a project and the subsequent construction for the environmental, landscape and recreational recovery of the Rambla de Nogalte.
In this sense, it is about increasing drainage capacity, securing margins, fighting erosion and recovering this channel for the recreational use of citizens.
"In this regard, the creation of a cycling path that contributes to the integration of this boulevard in the urban and social fabric could be considered; as well as other elements that promote the practice of outdoor sports and recreational activities," said César Gázquez , councilor of the popular municipal group.
