Lorena Santos, David Jiménez and Antonio Martín will put music to the Patron Saint Festivities on Saturday, December 7
The lumbrerense district of El Esparragal La Estación will celebrate its Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Purísima from Saturday, November 30 until Sunday, December 8.
The Department of Celebrations of the City of Puerto Lumbreras has designed a varied program that includes cultural, sports and leisure initiatives.
The holiday will begin with the Equine Cattle Fair on November 30 and December 1 at the Regional Cattle Market.
The equestrian event will take place in the morning and afternoon, continuously, from 08.00 to 20.00.
On Sunday 1 the Purísima Concepción, patron saint of the district, will leave in procession towards the Station, accompanied by numerous neighbors and the El Esparragal gang, at 09:30 hours.
At 1:30 p.m. a Mass will be celebrated in honor of the Purest Conception in the Multipurpose Pavilion of El Esparragal-La Estación and, at 6:00 p.m., it will be the collection of the Virgin.
The next appointment will be on Friday, December 6, at 9:30 p.m., with a Gang Meeting in the Multipurpose Pavilion of El Esparragal-La Estación. The little ones will also have their fun space with a children's playground that will be installed the same day in The station station from 10.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Already on Saturday, December 7 at 11.00, the traditional "Juan Asensio" wine contest will be held, in which the best taste and best color trophy will be awarded.
At 22:00 the concert of Macarena Soto will take place, and at 23:00 hours, Lorena Santos, David Jiménez and Antonio Martín will put music to the Patron Saint Festivities in the Multipurpose Pavilion, and admission will be free.
The group "Con Buena Letra" will also perform.
Sunday December 8 will be the big day of the holidays with the Floral Offering to the patron.
Mass will also be celebrated in his honor and procession, accompanied by the gang of El Esparragal.
This day the playground will be installed next to the Socio Cultural Center of La Ermita from 12.30 to 17.30.
In addition, from 2 pm there will be a solidarity paella for the benefit of the Alzheimer Village Association.
The afternoon will continue with live music from 5 pm with the 'Trio Acuarela' at the La Ermita Socio Cultural Center.
Then the gang of Henares will offer dance of parrandas and at 22:00 the fireworks castle will be held that will put an end to the Patron Saint Festivities.
