The Lumbrerense district of La Estación-Esparragal celebrated this Friday the traditional Gang Meeting on the occasion of the Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Purísima Concepción.
The event, organized by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, was attended by around 500 people.
The event was held at the Multi-Station Rural Center of La Estación-Esparragal with the participation of the Molino Marfagones gang, Cotillas Tower, El Paretón and El Esparragal.
All of them delighted the public based on parrandas, malagueñas, jacks, sevillanas or manchegas.
"The meeting of gangs helps to spread and promote the folklore and traditional music of the municipality. This event is configured as a reference in the legacy of oral transmission of the customs of the town of Lumbrerense to new generations," said the councilor of Celebrations, Juan Rubén Burrueco ".
