More than 300 attendees on Sunday enjoyed the free concert of the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia (OJRM) in a crowded church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Puerto Lumbreras, within the Christmas program organized by the municipality of the municipality.
An exciting and spectacular performance with a program dedicated to baroque music and Christmas, which started with the "Symphonie de Noël n ° 5" in D minor by Michel Corrette (1707-1795), also playing pieces by Charpentier, Aguilera de Heredia , Francesco Manfredini and John Playford, and who put the finishing touch with a selection of "Les Boréades" by Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764).
It was the end to some intense days of work for the dean of the youth orchestras of our country, which have performed their 37 musicians since last Thursday 26, to prepare especially the concert offered in Puerto Lumbreras.
A performance directed by Silvia Márquez, a member of the Baroque Orchestra of the European Union 2001 and who occupies the key chair of the Higher Conservatory of Music of Aragon, and whose soloist was the violinist Cecilia Clares, who was also part of the Orchestra European Baroque, working with top-level directors and violinists such as Enrico Onofri, Margaret Faultless or Chiara Bianchini among others.
Clares is also part of the group of professors of the aforementioned work meeting of the Youth Orchestra, a cast that is completed with Lorenzo Meseguer (cello), Pepe Fernández Vera (flute) and Antonio Clares (viola).
