The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will hire 2 half-day masonry laborers for 6 months to carry out repair, conservation and improvement works for kindergartens, public schools, public roads of the municipality, access roads to the Medina Nogalte heritage and tourism complex and the same heritage set (Artisan House Workshop Caves, Nogalte Hill Caves, Life and Traditions Cave, Water Roads Cave, Nogalte Castle Cave and School Cave), and 2 full-time administrative assistants, for the implementation of a Quality Management System in the Department of Training of this City Council.
The hiring must begin before March 31, 2019. This initiative will be executed through two local public employment projects "Repara II" and "Lumbreras Calidad", which will allow the hiring of unemployed people in the municipality.
The Councilor for Employment, José Manuel Sánchez, stressed that "we continue to promote these types of initiatives that encourage job creation to continue reducing the local unemployment rate, which is currently at 6'20%, well below the national average. "
The persons chosen to occupy these jobs will have to meet a series of requirements such as being unemployed, not occupied and registered in the employment offices of the Regional Employment and Training Service, and that both at the time of selection and in the hiring, were available for employment and were suitable for the job offered.
The employment office of the SEF, in accordance with the requested profile, will conduct the survey for the pre-selection of the candidates.
The workers who meet the requirements and who have planned their participation in their personalized itinerary are this type of program, will be selected by applying the following criteria in order: a) long-term unemployed 45 years or more;
b) young people under 30;
c) persons with disabilities, victims of gender violence and victims of terrorism;
and d) long-term unemployed from 30 to 44 years.
These two projects have a total grant of 35,000 euros, which includes total labor costs, including the social security business contribution for all concepts.
They are financed with funds from the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, transferred to the Autonomous Community of the Murcia Region, through the SEF, co-financed with the European Social Fund, being the promoter being the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
