On the other hand, the Health Center will soon have four new health professionals.
Specifically, two doctors and two nurses will be incorporated into the workforce to improve care and health care for citizens.
They have already joined, in fact, a doctor and a nurse.
With this measure, the healthcare pressure of professionals will be reduced and the number of patients assigned to each doctor will be reduced by 24.24%, which will result in greater satisfaction with the work they do and will provide better care for the residents of the municipality "said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health; Andrés Torrente, who also announced that" reforms in the health center will be carried out to accommodate these new professionals who arrive, adding an investment of around 100,000 euros to improve the center throughout the year 2020 ".
In the same way, this initiative will make it possible for doctors to have more availability to develop health promotion and prevention programs with different groups in the municipality.
"After repeated requests we have made from the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, and thanks to the work of the regional government, the Puerto Lumbreras Health Center will see its workforce reinforced, which will have a direct impact on the benefit of all Lumbrereans," said the Mayor of the town.
