Nearly 400 students from the four public schools of Puerto Lumbreras have participated this morning in the Local School Cross Day, which has been held next to the esplanade of the Municipal Sports Center.
The event has been played in the juvenile and baby categories with boys and girls aged between 9 and 12 years.
The competition has started with a young woman and a 800-meter course.
Later, it was the turn of male and young male and female juvenile, with a distance of 1000 meters.
The sports day, framed within the School Sports Program, has been organized by the Department of Physical Activity and Sports, in collaboration with the educational centers of the municipality.
Finally, it should be noted that the test is qualifying for the final of the School Cross of the Region of Murcia in the Benjamin and Alevin category that will be held on March 13, an event that will also host Puerto Lumbreras.
