The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia, has sent a message of tranquility and prudence in the face of coronavirus disease.
"Protocols have been reviewed, informative posters have been put in addition to gel and other utensils aimed at prevention in public and educational centers, municipal agencies, and we have extraordinary health services prepared at all times to address the situation," said the first mayor.
The recommendations that must be followed to prevent infections are those established by the Ministry of Health.
Essentially, it is about avoiding close contact with people suffering from acute respiratory infections, washing their hands frequently and extreme cleanliness and hygiene.
When coughing or sneezing it is advisable to use the inside of the elbow to cover your mouth and use tissues.
To resolve possible doubts or queries about coronavirus, the Autonomous Community has enabled a toll-free telephone number, 900121212, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
