On the other hand, this morning the Local Security Board met in an extraordinary and urgent session to discuss the follow-up of the measures carried out by the consistory on the occasion of the declaration of the State of Alarm, and explain the Mayor's Decree 2020- 0572 published yesterday, and which includes the measures set by both the City Council and the regional government, as well as by the Ministry of the Interior after the entry into force of Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, which The State of Alarm is declared for the management of the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 published in the BOE of March 14, 2020.
The Civil Guard is following instructions to maintain services 24 hours both with members of Puerto Lumbreras and those arriving from other places, to raise awareness among the population to stay home, and to inform anyone on public roads of the obligation to comply of this rule except to buy food, medicine and basic necessities, go to the doctor, work and return home.
In this sense, the Puerto Lumbreras Local Police has had to impose to date 8 sanctions for non-compliance with the regulations of RD 463/2020 of March 14, on citizens who were circulating on public roads without just cause (according to the dictates of the State Decree of Alarm), in addition to making numerous warnings.
