The Lumbrerean boxer Mari Carmen Romero, champion of Europe and Spain of professional boxing, and world champion of Muay Thai among other titles, will teach every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. while the State of Alarm lasts, through her profile of Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/mary.romeromolina) a class of "lifeboxing" aimed especially at the little ones, and families.
An initiative in which the Department of Physical Activity and Sports of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council collaborates, and which according to the boxer aims to provide "positive energy and optimism" in these moments of special difficulty for all citizens, and in which we must stay home given the health alert due to COVID19.
Romero will direct the class live through his Facebook profile, so anyone who wants to can follow it on the Internet, both in Puerto Lumbreras and in the rest of the world.
It will last about 30-45 minutes.
"Lifeboxing" is a discipline similar to "aerobox";
adapted boxing and accompanied by music.
A sports modality of great success in recent times, with which among other benefits it is possible to burn more calories than in a conventional aerobics practice due to the movement of fists and kicks exerted against an imaginary partner.
In addition, it is recognized as a stress-releasing element and in which thanks to the force of its movements it is possible to tone the muscles, acquire coordination, and above all, have fun.
