The government team of the Popular Party at the Puerto Lumbreras Town Hall has donated the amount of 1,100 euros to the solidarity account for the purchase of food and sanitary materials "ASEPLU COVID-19".

In this way, the municipal group joins the initiative organized by the Department of Commerce of the municipality of Lumbrere, together with the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras (Aseplu) and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, in order to help the most vulnerable people and families in Puerto Lumbreras in the face of the consequences of the pandemic.

An initiative that is carried out in collaboration with the Rafael Méndez Hospital and the Puerto Lumbreras Health Center, as well as with Cáritas and the Red Cross.

"In the next few days, an extraordinary plenary session will be convened in the City Hall, which will be held electronically, and the eight councilors of the PP have decided to donate the corresponding amount of money for assistance in the case of the councilors not released. Freed councilors who do not receive this amount, will also donate the same amount to this cause as well as temporary or trusted personnel. We want to make this contribution to collaborate with the needs of our municipality, taking into account that care for the most vulnerable families, single-parent families, families at risk of social exclusion, as well as our elders are a priority, "said the spokeswoman for the popular municipal group;
