| New electronic signature systems have been incorporated to be able to carry out online procedures without the need for a digital certificate | The Department of Education of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a Telephone Assistance Service for students and families to resolve any type of question at the educational level.
The phone enabled for this service is 697 222 487, from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. Likewise, this service is activated for those students and families who present questions about procedures and deadlines of nurseries, schools and institute of the municipality.
It is a personalized service with the main objective of clearing the concerns of students and future students from Lumbrere. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Regional Government has incorporated new electronic signature systems for families to electronically submit applications for the admission process of students for the next school year, without the need for a digital certificate. The application period began on March 9 and was interrupted by the statement by the State of Alarm due to Covid-19.
However, this term will be extended when the administrative terms are resumed in the national term.
Meanwhile, families can request the school they prefer for their children for the next year by accessing the "Admission" section of the Educarm website. The Councilor for Education, José Manuel Sánchez, has indicated "we are doing everything possible to keep the families of Lumbrera informed and calm about everything related to the education of their children."
