| They have also been distributed to workers since the early hours of the morning in different parts of the town | The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras through the municipal Social Services has begun to distribute reusable masks to more than 250 people with disabilities in the municipality, through mailboxes.
These are specifically boys and girls from Early Care, both those who are being cared for and those who are being monitored, and people with intellectual disabilities who are in the municipal day center at the Pilar Soubrier Public School of Special Education in Lorca, in their homes, as well as those that are part of the ADICA summer school (Association of People with Disabilities of Puerto Lumbreras). This distribution of protection elements against possible contagions by COVID-19 is added to the one that the municipal council already made to other groups such as people over 14 years of age in the town, and within the initiative to extend this measure to the entire population, even more so at these times when going out into the streets has been allowed since last Saturday. On the other hand, municipal workers, Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection of Puerto Lumbreras have carried out this morning a new distribution of masks to municipal workers in the "El Descanso" Industrial Estate and in the main communication routes of the city.
An endowment of material received by the central government through the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
