| Loans and returns will only be allowed by appointment, adopting a series of health and safety measures against Covid-19 | The Municipal Library of Puerto Lumbreras is scheduled to reopen starting next Monday, May 11, only to service loans and repayments, once the BOE confirmed that the municipality is entering Phase I of de-escalation. After keeping its doors closed since the declaration of the State of Alarm decreed by Covid-19, next Monday it will again attend to the people of Lumbrera from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 in the morning through the number 968 40 29 25 to book or return books.
Once this call has been received, the library will contact the interested party to confirm the availability of the material and prior appointment. Mainly, the loan and the return of books will only be authorized following the instructions of the guidance provision document for the lifting of limitations at the national level, imposed during the State of Alarm. Thus, the facilities are being prepared and following a series of restrictions to guarantee the safety of personnel and users.
During the confinement, the library has been thoroughly disinfected and action measures are planned, in which the material is delivered at all times by the person in charge of the library, to minimize contact.
Therefore, those interested in going to the facilities must comply with a series of hygiene measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, such as the use of a mask, gloves and disinfectant gel. In addition, you must attend individually in order to avoid crowds, and maintain the minimum safety distance, waiting your turn on the street if necessary.
In the case of borrowed books, after their return they will remain in special quarantine for 14 days to avoid possible contagion.
