The municipal group of the Popular Party will take a full motion for the Puerto Lumbreras City Council to express support and recognition for people with Asperger Syndrome, their families and the entities that daily work to advance and improve their quality of life , as well as to urge the recognition at the state level of "Social Disability", which will affect not only the promotion and improvement of the quality of life of the group of people with Asperger's Syndrome, but also the more real and effective compliance with the principle of social inclusion, to which all administrations are called to comply. Asperger's Syndrome is a disorder that involves a highly complex problem, which affects the ability to properly process the stimuli related to social communication, as well as the difficulty of understanding social roles.

These people lack a social understanding, which in many cases makes them vulnerable to common risks due to their lack of social control and analysis of vital risks.

"Problems such as abuse and manipulation due to their lack of interpretation of the intentions of other people as well as a future where a large proportion will not be able to be independent and will need the help of an adult to supervise them," said the councilor of the Municipal Group.

It is for all these reasons that the municipal group of the Popular Party in the Puerto Lumbreras City Council considers it vitally important that within the framework of state legislation the recognition of "Social Disability" be considered for people with Asperger syndrome, so that they can access rights that favor their full integration or social inclusion.
