| To date, around a hundred requests have been received | The Lumbrereist consistory deals with this decision to "facilitate the procedures for the self-employed, businesses and SMEs, and encourage the economic and social revival of our municipality in the face of the consequences of the pandemic" The Puerto Lumbreras City Council has extended until August 17 the deadline for requesting extraordinary aid COVID-19, aimed at alleviating the effects of the pandemic on families, businesses, self-employed workers and companies from Lumbreras, through a municipal fund endowed with 135,500 euros.
With this measure, the local government team intends "to facilitate to the maximum the procedures to benefit from these aids both for the self-employed, as well as for businesses, hoteliers and SMEs, to avoid further aggravating the economic burden on families and companies and to encourage economic reactivation and social of our municipality before the consequences of this crisis, "said the Councilor for Finance and spokesman; Raquel Rodríguez.
Since the deadline opened to date, around a hundred applications have been received. Those interested can make the request through the electronic headquarters of the consistory, through the web address https://sede.puertolumbreras.regiondemurcia.es.

The amount of one quarter of public road occupancy rate per weekly market will be subsidized, the annual amount of the public road occupancy rate of tables and chairs during 2020, and one quarter of water and garbage receipts for all closed economic activity during alarm state.
The IBI is also subsidized for an amount proportional to the period of closure during the state of alarm for properties destined for an economic activity and that maintain 75% of its staff, the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) for an amount of 25 % of the municipal quota for those companies closed during the state of alarm and that maintain 75% of their staff,and also reflects aid intended for the owners of a business or company for renting premises intended for an economic activity and that remain in activity for at least 6 months from the end of the state of alarm, for a maximum amount of € 150 / premises , as well as subsidies for compensation of business premises closed during the state of alarm located in the municipal business incubator.
