The Municipal Council for Economic, Business and Commercial Development of Puerto Lumbreras held a telematic meeting yesterday in which the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras participated: María Ángeles Túnez, the councilor for Local Development and Economic Dynamization; Rocío Martínez, and representatives of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras ASEPLU, CECLOR, Guadalentín Emprende, Official Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, as well as the hoteliers of the municipality and of various sectors such as food, commerce, citizen security, gyms and decoration.
The order of the day was focused on working on different initiatives within the plan for economic reactivation and revitalization of the commercial and hospitality sector of the municipality, to carry them out in the last quarter of this year. The first campaign to be held will be "Buy and Earn", promoted by the Department of Local Development and Economic Dynamization and the Chamber of Commerce, and will take place from September 21 to November 21.

The procedure can be done through the electronic headquarters of the Instituto de Fomento (Info). The objective of the measure is to subsidize the acquisition of (new) computer programs and material that allow the incorporation of teleworking, work, personal and family conciliation, new communication systems that improve the competitiveness of companies, as well as investments in protection material that ensure activity and prevent infections. The grants are non-refundable and will be 50 percent of the eligible costs for medium-sized companies, 65 percent for small companies and 85 percent for micro-companies and the self-employed, including mutualists, with a maximum amount per beneficiary of 15,000 euros.
