| The Club has more than a hundred students who practice this sport in the Municipal Sports Center facilities | The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras; María Ángeles Túnez, together with the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports; Juan Rubén Burrueco, and the president of the Puerto Lumbreras Tennis Club; Ginés Pedrero, have signed a collaboration agreement with this association for the programming and implementation of activities leading to the promotion of tennis in the town, through the organization of various sports, training and competitions. In this way, the Consistory collaborates financially with the club for the programming and implementation of activities such as designing, organizing and imparting tasks of initiation and promotion of the sport of tennis and its improvement, mainly among the juvenile, child and youth population of the municipality or organize annual championships by categories, among others. The Puerto Lumbreras Tennis Club has more than a hundred students who practice this sport at the Municipal Sports Center facilities.
The mayor took advantage of this meeting to congratulate the president of the club "for the work they have been developing in recent years and for the great commitment they are making in promoting grassroots sports."
