| The members of the Municipal Emergency Service-Civil Protection are already working to locate the close contacts of the positive ones by telephone call, with the objective of to stop the line of contagions | The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras; María Ángeles Túnez, together with the Councilor for Health; Juan Rubén Burrueco, has visited the facilities of Civil Protection-Emergency Service of the municipality, where the Center for Tracking and Monitoring of People Affected by Covid-19 (CECOVID 33) has been launched. Tunisia explained that "the City Council has set up this center with its own resources in collaboration with the Puerto Lumbreras health center belonging to the Lorca Health Area III.
The members of the Municipal Emergency and Civil Protection Service have completed the necessary training for tracking tasks, and they are already working to locate the close contacts of the positives by phone call, and gather information on the movements they have made in the previous days.The priority objective is to stop the line of infections as quickly as possible.
Having the 112 Emergency Coordination Center of Puerto Lumbreras in the same building as the CECOVID will allow fluid contact and coordination with other health services,security and social measures so that the fight against the pandemic is as effective as possible.
" The mayor highlighted that "social isolation and quarantine is the best tool to control this virus" and recalled that "since the beginning of this health crisis, the City Council has made all its means available to collaborate with the Ministry of Health in the established measures and avoid possible infections by COVID-19.
We will continue to do everything in our power in coordination with the competent health authorities so that together we win the battle against coronavirus.
