Specifically, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras; María Ángeles Túnez, and the councilor for Economic Dynamization and Local Development; Rocío Martínez, have carried out the formalization of the contract for the assignment of the premises and the delivery of keys to Francisco Javier García Conde and the cooperative "SyG Agro".
The latter is dedicated to the management and technical advice of agri-food companies to optimize company resources, reduction of production costs, even implementation of environmental measures and optimization of water use, so it is an innovative project that collaborates with sustainable development.
Regarding the project of Francisco Javier García,It is a wholesale company for agricultural machinery; activity in constant growth before the irruption of different products, increasingly avant-garde. "The installation of two companies related to agriculture in this municipal nursery is another example of the commitment that the City Council maintains with the primary sector, which represents 55 percent of employment in Puerto Lumbreras and contributes to the local economy more than 70 percent of gross domestic product.
Therefore, we are aware that we must help this key sector, giving all possible facilities.
