The Councilor for Conciliation and Equality of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council; Toņi Navarro, has announced the celebration of the first edition of the Christmas Coeducation School in the town.
It will take place from December 23 to January 8 at the Juan L pez, Buenaventura Romera and La Estaci n-Esparragal Municipal Infant Schools, from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00.
A free service for families in need of reconciliation during the holiday period and whose children are between 3 and 12 years old, registered in the municipality and enrolled in educational centers in Puerto Lumbreras.
In addition,parents must justify being in a labor situation (working) or receiving training for employment.
Navarro has reported that "this school acquires special relevance given the situation in which we find ourselves, since due to the pandemic there has been a greater need to reconcile family life with work and personal life.
Therefore, we are going to make this initiative available to all those families who require it during the Christmas period, guaranteeing of course all the hygienic-sanitary and safety measures for prevention against COVID-19 ".
"A school in which in addition to offering a fundamental service such as conciliation, coeducational attitudes and values ??and education in equality will be promoted through games and artistic expression ", said the councilor.
The application submission period is open until December 22.
