| Currently, 101 minors are served; 35 in intervention and 66 in follow-up | The Department of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has approved an agreement with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras through the Murcian Institute of Action n Social (IMAS), amounting to € 108,889.65 for the maintenance of the early care center in Puerto Lumbreras.

Of this amount, the regional government will contribute 93,158 euros, while the Lumbrerense council the amount of 15,731.65 euros.

Specifically, 101 children under 6 years of age (35 in the weekly intervention modality and 66 in follow-up) will benefit from this help, the purpose of which is to respond to the transitory or permanent needs presented by children with disorders in their development or are at risk of suffering from them.

It is about enabling their complete integration into the family, school and social environment, as well as their personal autonomy.

The service provided in the municipality's early care center includes prevention and diagnosis programs; therapeutic intervention, which includes sensory, motor and cognitive stimulation, as well as physiotherapy, speech therapy, hydrotherapy and family intervention; activities aimed at families, including guidance, accompaniment, dynamization and training workshops.

The center is made up of an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, pedagogues, speech therapists and physiotherapists.

The mayor of the town, Mª ngeles T nez, has stressed that "through early care services not only intervene but also prevent.

We are not only talking about prevention Only in children at risk of suffering difficulties, but in the case of those who already have established deficiencies, it allows the prevention of further deterioration and prevents them from presenting greater alterations later.

Thanks to this subsidy that we receive from the Government regional, and to the contribution made by the City Council, we can continue to pay attention to minors who present disorders in their development and continue to enhance their personal autonomy.
