| Information about the pandemic being the most requested | The City Council profiles on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are growing exponentially, with an average reach of more than 6000 people per day The councilor responsible for New Technologies; Jos� Manuel S�nchez, reported this morning that the municipal website www.puertolumbreras.es registered more than 200,000 visits from different users during the past year 2020.
Of these, the majority; 25 percent correspond to the portal's home page, where the Puerto Lumbreras City Council included a specific highlighted section on information on COVID-19, updated daily, since the beginning of the pandemic.

S�nchez pointed out that "in 2020 a total of 203,999 visits to the municipal website have been recorded, and 210,333 pages viewed, with an average of 576 daily visits.
Throughout the year there have been has been publishing on the web news related to the management that the City Council is carrying out in the municipality, with special attention to the health crisis, and through press releases, photographs, audios and videos that are sent daily also to the county, regional and national media ".
Thus, the most widely read publications were the statement from the Puerto Lumbreras health center after declaring the State of Alarm, the news about sanctions from the Local Police for not respecting its restrictions, and the reopening from the weekly markets of the town.
The councilor also highlighted that "with the pandemic, municipal services promoted the telematic process for negotiations with the Administration, which has also been reflected in a greater increase in visits to the headquarters municipal electronics ".
Jose Manuel S�nchez has also referred to the official profiles of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council on the different social networks, on which he highlighted that they have an average daily reach of around 6000 people.
On Facebook (Puerto Lumbreras City Council), the town hall page reaches 4,774 followers, and during the past year it experienced great growth, with more than 1,100 new followers, and a publication reach of 1,136 .000 users, 60 percent more than in 2019.

For its part, the Instagram profile (@ptolumbreras) currently has 1,300 followers, and in 2020 it had a reach of 75,000 unique users and 190,000 impressions between publications and "stories".

The Councilor for New Technologies has highlighted that both the municipal website and the social media profiles "are intended to promote citizen participation and achieve greater transparency in municipal management.
