The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has organized the activity 'Library Detectives' to foster the reading habit in young people.
More than 200 lumbrerenses of all schools in the county have participated in the initiative which explains the operation and services provided by the municipal library, and also perform various fun and games to promote reading habit.
Councillor for Education and Culture, Isabel García, has awarded prizes to the winners of the 50 students that included a gymkhana games at the Library of the municipality.
Specifically, there have been searches of library books, quizzes and reading stories.
The initiative is included in the program 'The World in Your Library' that drives the City and also includes various cultural activities.
