The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Spaces, has opened the Municipal Public Park following the completion of various works of improvement and upgrading.

According to the councilman of Public Spaces, Juan Ramón Cayuela, "all these actions we have developed contribute to the improvement of public park facilities in the municipality, including new playgrounds, new green spaces and increasing the areas shaded area for the period summer.

Preventive Service of Civil Protection
On the other hand, coinciding with the reopening of the Municipal Public Park, the municipality has launched a new preventive service to increase security in public space during the months of July, August and September, coinciding with school holidays for lumbrerenses.
The preventive service serves to ensure the safety of children in facilities with various playgrounds and gardens.
Specifically, the service will be held every day at 19.00 hours to 23.00hy is carried out by members of the group of Civil Protection of the municipality.
