The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Council of Guilds Pasionarias the municipality have signed a collaboration agreement to develop and promote the Easter lumbrerense.
Thus, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the president of the Council of Guilds Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras, Toni Navarro, have formalized the cooperation agreement by which the City provides a subsidy to the three Brotherhoods of the town.
In this sense, the mayor explained that "through this collaboration agreement the City Council gives an annual grant to the Council of Guilds to develop and promote the municipality Easter".
In addition, he explained that "the Easter shows one of the most deeply rooted for each year lumbrerenses and traditions have a larger number of participants and visitors."
Thus, the City Council awarded a grant of 27,000 euros to Fitted Guilds for the organization and promotion of religious processions and cultural events held in the city coinciding with Easter.
To this end, the Council of Guilds takes a fair distribution of the subsidy to the three brotherhoods of the municipality: the Ancient and Venerable Brotherhood of the Blessed.
Our Lady of Sorrows, the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Stmo.
Christ of the Faith and Holy Mary.
