This morning, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and Employment Councilwoman have welcomed the new students who will be part of this program.
The project is aimed at 15 students and lasts nine months, where the training will alternate with professional practice.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has launched today a mixed employment and training program "Green Port" for the development of ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers.
So, this morning, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Councillor for Employment, Angela Morillas, have welcomed the new students who will be part of this program.
Specifically, the project is aimed at 15 students enrolled in the program Youth Guarantee and lasts for nine months.
Thus, during the first three months, attendees will receive the appropriate certificate for professional gardening specialty training.
On the other hand, during the six months, students will be hired and complement their training with work and professional practice.
Likewise, throughout the project, students will receive guidance, counseling and professional information that will enable them both to search for paid employment and for setting their own.
Thus, young people will be hired by the promoters and receive 567.52 euros per month, including proportionate share of the bonus.
It is worth mentioning that the beneficiaries of this project are young unemployed registered with the National Youth Guarantee System.
In addition, it has also hired a monitor and a coordinator for the implementation of this program of work.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "our main objective is to improve employment opportunities lumbrerenses, especially the younger ones. For this reason, we launched a new employment program which facilitate the employment of unemployed people ".
Finally, it is noteworthy that this initiative employment is subsidized by the Regional Employment Service and Training and co-funded by the European Social Fund for an amount of 116,439.81 euros.
