Has been reduced by 50% the rate of municipal pools for sports clubs of the town with federated athletes who need the aquatic environment for the development of their sport.
They have also decreased tariffs tennis courts, sports courts, municipal soccer field and swimming courses.
It has already entered into force amending the ordinance regulating public price for the provision of municipal swimming pool, swimming courses, sports facilities and other similar services, after being approved last week in the Municipal Council.
Thus, through this ordinance, the City reduced the rates they have to pay citizens to make use of sports facilities in the municipality.
Specifically, it has been reduced by 50% the amount of public money for sports clubs in the town with sportspeople, registered in Puerto Lumbreras, and the aquatic environment for the development of their activity (swimming clubs and triathlon necessary ).
Thus, it has also reduced the price per hour of tennis courts.
Previously, citizens had to pay 4 euros for the track without lighting and lighting 5.50 euros.
From now on, the price is 3 euros per hour without lighting and 4 euros per hour with lighting.
Similarly, it has lowered the rate of the sports courts and paddle courts.
In the case of the sports courts, the price has been reduced from 6 to 5 euros unlit and 7.50 euros to 6 euros with light use.
Meanwhile, outside paddle tracks have been decreased their hourly rate of 6 euros to 4 euros.
It has also lowered the price of other sports facilities like the Municipal Football Field, Soccer Field 7 and Municipal Golf Futsal.
Regarding swimming courses, students from families whose income does not exceed the minimum wage will have a 50% bonus.
For other students, the price is reduced from 26 euros to 25 euros per course.
Finally, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, stressed that "sports in Puerto Lumbreras is now cheaper for citizens".
Thus, Carrillo added that "with this measure we want to encourage the practice of physical activity and sport as a healthy habit in the municipality".
