The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education in collaboration with the local police of the municipality and the Traffic Department of the Region of Murcia, has launched throughout the month Days of Road Safety Centers and Primary education of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, more than 1,500 students from public schools Jordan Assumption, Immaculate Conception, Sacred Heart and Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz participate in the conference with which aims to educate and sensitize children on road safety.

The programming of this activity with the participation of teachers who guide children as well as local police officers instructing younger to have proper behavior in the role of pedestrian and driver.

Councillor for Education concluded by explaining that "it is important that children aware of road safety rules in order to prevent accidents, and educate young people in good habits of movement".
Thus, the four schools in the municipality have joined the initiative which will run for a full week at each of the schools.
