Under this agreement, the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras provides a subsidy of 15,000 euros to the Confederation of Employers ASEPLU for the organization of fairs, markets and training courses, among other activities.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M.ª Angeles Tunisia, and the president of the Confederation of Employers of Puerto Lumbreras (ASEPLU), Antonio Francisco Garcia, this morning signed a collaboration agreement to promote local trade and business development in the municipality.
Thus, the agreement aims to frame and coordinate common actions in the field of local development, training and employment.
Under this agreement, the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras provides a subsidy of 15,000 euros to the Confederation of Employers ASEPLU, which will go to the organization of trade fairs, markets, training, dissemination, promotion and development of local trade.
In addition, information services and advice to businessmen and entrepreneurs will also be offered.
In this sense, the Councillor of Commerce, Angela Morillas, who was also present at the signing of the agreement, explained that "through this collaboration agreement between the City and the ASEPLU association we step further and encourage the development of our town municipal projects promoting new business measures that will help boost the economic fabric ".
Finally, it notes that ASEPLU is a business organization with legal personality and full capacity to act to fulfill their purposes.
Among its aims is the representation, promotion and defense of the general interests of commerce, hospitality, industry and other economic sectors of the municipality, and the provision of information, advice and other, companies engaging in such activities, collaborate, where appropriate, with public authorities.
