Small have learned in a fun way the services offered by the municipal library network and its operation.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Tourism and Culture has launched a program of recreational and educational activities for the little ones on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of the Book, including the contest is "Detectives Library".
Thus, more than 200 schoolchildren from 5th Primary of all schools in the municipality have participated in the contest, which has developed in the Municipal Library of Puerto Lumbreras in order to encourage the habit of reading among children.
Thus, through the contest 'Detectives Library', the students have learned in a fun and entertaining way, the services offered by the municipal library network and its operation.
Specifically, the contest involved the formulation of general knowledge questions to different teams of children, who have sought answers among hundreds of books from libraries, with the winning group the first to finish with the correct answers.
