The day has had a Rociera Mass in the Chapel of El Esparragal a pilgrimage and fair rociera noon.
The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras hosted the thirteenth edition of the Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Rocio in which more than 300 people.
From early morning he has started the day with a Rociera Mass in the Chapel of El Esparragal, to continue later with the pilgrimage where each year more people on horseback or in carriages accompanied the Virgen del Rocio participate.
The traditional meeting organized by the 'Association Rociera Candela' in collaboration with the city, has also had performances in which attendees participated dressed in traditional costumes rocieros.
After the Mass and Pilgrimage, attendees participated in a fellowship meal that has given way to the performance of rociero group 'Voices Marismas`.
According to members of the organization "the Party Rociera is a tradition in Puerto Lumbreras which brings lumbrerenses and neighbors from nearby villages who want to accompany the Virgen del Rocio. In addition, each year a growing number of participants in this day of living" .
