The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras receive a grant of 13,859, 87 euros, by the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Community for the development of programs and services in comprehensive assistance to women victims of gender violence in the municipality.
Specifically, through this grant, services and schedule Point Specialized Care for Victims of Domestic Violence (PAE) of Puerto Lumbreras, attached to the Network of Specialized Care for Victims of Domestic Violence will be extended ( CAVIS) of the Region of Murcia.
Similarly, they will be launched new new initiatives in prevention and awareness on gender violence and equal opportunities in the municipality.
In this sense, the Mayor of the town stressed that "thanks to the investment made by the regional government, can strengthen the services currently provided at the Point of Care Issues Victims of Domestic Violence in Puerto Lumbreras".
Note that the PAE of Puerto Lumbreras provides psychological intervention to women and also provides legal and social assistance through CAVI Lorca.
Point Specialized Care municipality has an expert in gender violence psychologist working in collaboration with social workers, local police and Civil Guard municipality, with personalized attention and during the time that each case needs.
Finally, Maria Angeles Tunisia explained that "a free service we offer support and advice to women who are or have been victims of abuse with personalized attention for victims of domestic violence can successfully meet their experiences".
